1. Who you're contracting with

The Service is operated by Your Website Agency ("we", "us"), registered in the United Kingdom.

2. What the Service is

Build a Bot gives you a sandboxed AI bot reachable through a dedicated subdomain on buildabot.cloud, a web chat interface, and a Telegram bot allocated from our pool. Your bot talks to the AI provider whose API key you supply (Bring Your Own Key, or BYOK).

3. Account

• You must be at least 18 to open an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Each Build a Bot subscription covers a single tenant (subdomain + bot). For multiple bots, take multiple subscriptions.

4. Subscription and payment

• The Service costs £9.99 per month, billed in advance through Stripe.
• New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being billed.
• We may change the price by giving you at least 30 days' email notice. If you don't agree with a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
• We do not see or store your card number — Stripe handles payment details.

5. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

• You supply your own API key for an AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic). You pay that provider directly for AI usage — Build a Bot does not bill or mark up AI usage.
• Your key is stored inside your bot's sandbox only. We do not have access to it.
• You must comply with your AI provider's terms and usage policies. If they suspend or revoke your key, your bot will stop working until you fix it.

6. Cancellation, refunds, and the 14-day cooling-off period

• You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month.
• Cooling-off period. Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital services and get a refund. By starting your bot during checkout you expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel under the cooling-off rules once provisioning starts. Where provisioning has not yet started, the 14-day right still applies.
• We don't generally pro-rate refunds for partial months, but if you think there's been a billing error or a serious service failure, email us and we'll sort it out.

7. Subdomain and tenant resources

• The subdomain you pick is granted to you while your subscription is active. It is not sold, transferred, or guaranteed.
• After cancellation, your sandbox and bot are torn down following a 24-hour grace window. Your subdomain is held for 30 days before becoming available again, so a quick restart of the same name is usually possible.
• We may reserve certain names (e.g. admin, www, api, and similar) and reject names that infringe trademarks or imply affiliation.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any applicable law or any third party's rights;
• generate or distribute content that's illegal, defamatory, or sexually exploits minors;
• send spam or run unsolicited mass-messaging campaigns through your bot;
• attempt to gain access to other customers' sandboxes, subdomains, or data, or to interfere with the platform's isolation guarantees;
• violate the terms of the AI provider whose API key you supply; or
• use the Service to compete by reselling it as a substantially identical product under another name.

9. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach Section 8 or fail to pay. We'll usually give you a chance to fix things first where it's safe to do so. If you breach Section 8 in a way that risks other customers or the platform, we may act immediately.

10. Intellectual property

• Yours stays yours. Anything your bot generates from your prompts, plus any data you give it, belongs to you.
• Ours stays ours. The Build a Bot platform, code, branding, and documentation are owned by Your Website Agency. The Service is licensed to you, not sold.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your AI provider will give the answers you want. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost profits, or lost data;
• our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll email you at the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect. Other changes are reflected by updating the "last updated" date.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be decided by the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers based in another part of the UK or in the EEA may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction where applicable law gives them that right.
